The Historic Molly Brown Summer
House Museum & Event Center is located in Southwest Denver just minutes from downtown Denver
and the Foothills. Built in 1897 by "Molly" and J.J. Brown, this beautiful
Victorian home is a wonderful gathering place for all types of events:
Born the daughter of poor
Irish immigrants, Margaret Brown became a legend in her
own time and was immortalized as the "Unsinkable Molly Brown".
This two-story buttered brick home was this indomitable woman's celebrated
450 acre country retreat featuring a fishing pond, terraced
lawns and stunning flower beds.
In 1928 the Fehlmann family purchased the house
and five generations of the family have lovingly continued
to maintain it.
The
main floor includes four historic, Victorian style rooms
including the parlor, library, country room and dining room. Each room features high ceilings, original woodwork and period furnishings. For private catered events, our
country kitchen may be used by your caterer.
In addition to the historic house with its inviting
wrap-around porch, there are the beautiful grounds situated on one acre on the
corner of Wadsworth and Yale.
In 2009, the
family completed an extensive renovation of the outside gardens, installing new brick
patios, curving pathways under mature trees, fountains, and graceful lawns
surrounded by privacy walls. There is also a new 1500 square foot event tent,
plenty of safe parking and lots of room to stroll and celebrate life's most
important events.
The Molly Brown Summer House Museum
& Event Center is a warm and inviting
gathering place for family and friends. Granddaughter Mary Rose Shearer (better
known as Momo) provides personalized tours of the historic home, an elegant tea room and
choice menus for brunch, lunch and dinner. There are also classes, entertainment

Private events including family
reunions, graduation parties, birthdays, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers,
weddings and receptions, club and corporate meetings and more may be hosted
